Awakening by AFK, 6th March 2016

The «Awakening» was painted by Bergen Street Artist «AFK» under the Smørs Bridge in the centre of Bergen. The name behind the synonym «AFK» is unknown, but his street art sends out a clear message.

The image was named «Awakening» to awake the curiosity of the Bergen public. This cetainly happend as the it was drawn to the attention of the Norwegian «State Highway Authority» who promptly painted over the work of art a short time after it was completed.

I was lucky to get to photograph the work of art during the short period it existed.
